How To Make Money From iPhone Apps

How to Make Money from iPhone Apps

How much can I make?

Generally iPhone apps don't allow you make as much money as you might using websites online as the tasks are simpler and quicker. However, if you combine multiple apps and complete their tasks frequently, you could be racking up to $10-$20 a week.
It also depends on where you live and which tasks are available in your location.
On some survey apps the pay is very high per survey, but you don't get sent surveys very often, while on others the pay is quite low but the surveys are frequent.

Clic and Walk

highly recommend Clic and Walk. What they offer are photo missions, in which you have to generally answer a few questions about a given topic and take a few photos, either in your home or at the store. These topics could be "Your Favorite Yogurt" or "Photos of your Watch".
They have some high paying ones that pay up to £5 for you to walk into a local store and take a photo of the shelves. The missions aren't long at all and can be completed in less than 5-10 minutes.
However, this app is only available for residents in the UK.

Survey.com Mobile

Survey.com are an app that pay you for your views and opinions on broad topics that they give you. All you need to do is register through the app and give your location. It then gives you different surveys specific to your location.
Most of these surveys can be categorized as "Lifestyle", "Food", "Sport" or "Entertainment". They pay on average about $0.10, which can rack up quickly if you have many surveys available. If you don't, you can change your location and you'll more than likely end up on a survey.

My Survey

My Survey is an app for the website mysurvey.com -- a website which is very popular and considered the best paying survey website. It's simple to set up an account and complete surveys on the go. Mini-polls are also a feature.
The only problem is that surveys come up very rarely.

FeaturePoints

The currency of FeaturePoints is points. You collect them by downloading apps they tell you to, and play them for a given amount of time (usually a few seconds). Some rewards you can get are:
  • Paid apps for free
  • Amazon gift cards
  • iTunes gift cards
  • PayPal Funds (you can get from $5 to $100)
Downloading and playing an app gives you an average of 200 points, and $5 PayPal cash is 3000 points. You could be 15 apps downloads away from $5 (you can delete the apps after the points have been rewarded).
FeaturePoints have a referral system -- if you refer people with your code you receive half their points every time they download an app (this doesn't affect their point balance).
The only downside is that it can be a bit slow.

The first reward from them in $10 for the first 50 surveys answered -- they pay $0.20 per survey. The money is paid via PayPal.

iPoll

Here, you get weekly assignments of basic topics such as: "Show us the shoes you are wearing today" and "Show us your dinner". All you have to do is take a photo of what they are asking you to, and earn money for it.
You can get this money sent to your PayPal and even donate it to Unicef.

In their words: Earn cash for living healthy, paid by members who don't.
