The conclusion: Which laptop is better?

Answer: It will depend on a couple of factors; money, wants, and needs.

Also, these two laptops have completely different operating systems and so if you are used to a Mac, you would want to be an Apple laptop; but if you used Windows laptops your entire life, you will choose the ASUS.  Preference is the key they say.

My opinion: I would probably choose the MacBook because it is excellent for web design, photography, style, and it is just an Apple computer.  If I was in a budget situation, I might go with the ASUS UX305 model laptop, it can be used to everyday and school work.  The starting price of $699 is almost half of $1299 that Apple wants for its all NEW MacBook.  You decide.
